The Friends of Watsonville Parks and Community Services (Friends) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the welfare of the Watsonville community through the enhancements of the parks, recreation and cultural and educational programs of the City of Watsonville’s Parks and Community Services Department. The Friends are coordinating an engraved ”Buy a Brick” fund raising drive for the renovation of Ramsay Park in Watsonville, which is scheduled to be begin in 2024.

The Friends will use the funds collected from the sales of the bricks to support Ramsay Park needs and programs. The 6 x 12-inch bricks will be used to create walking paths in the new children’s all-access playground and dog park. Each brick can be engraved with 20 characters on three lines and will be an important area of Ramsay Park for many years.
