The 22nd annual Cesar Chavez Community Awards will recognize individuals, organizations, and businesses who help contribute to the Watsonville community with a special, free, in-person buffet and award ceremony.
Join us in the Civic Plaza Community Room at City Hall to recognize individuals, organizations, and businesses for their contributions to our Watsonville community. We are thrilled to announce that Speaker of the CA Assembly, Robert Rivas, will give our keynote.

The Friends of Watsonville Parks and Community Services and the City of Watsonville are accepting nominations for their 22nd Annual Cesar Chavez Community Awards, which will be held on Thursday, March 28th, at 6 pm inside the Watsonville Civic Plaza Community Room (6th floor) at 275 Main St. Watsonville, CA 95076.
Please help us highlight the efforts of those community members who deserve recognition for their contributions.
A selection committee of the City of Watsonville Parks and Recreation Commission will select the award recipients. We encourage winners to bring their loved ones and invite the community to join us at this free community event. Donations will be accepted.
We are thrilled to announce that Robert Rivas, Representative of the 29th Assembly District and Speaker of the California Assembly, will join us as our keynote speaker. We will also hear from Watsonville City Mayor, Vanessa Quiroz-Carter. Please join us!
